Yep. My opinion wouldn't be very popular with all the fanboys on the internet, I know.
They probably loved The Tree of Life too.

Saw 'Gravity' on Friday.
All in all, I thought it was quite good. I found it quite eerie at times. The action all going on in the soundless world of space adds menace and heightens the 'other worldliness' of the setting.
No great brain straining involved in the plot, but visually it is spectacular.

Anyway, after filming, got home to watch Tropic Thunder - Tom Cruise does his best work in this movie.

Do not recommend. Terrible movie.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
David Stratton & Margaret Pomeranz gave it 4.5 & 4 respectively with David saying its the best space film he's seen since 2001 ! I'm going. David Stratton suggested to watch it in 3D.
Mind you & on the other hand, it would be boring if we all liked the same films.
My family loved "Bored with the Rings" & I found it tedious.
