I would give Newcastle a chance to win 3 out of those games, what cost us in the City and Chelsea games earlier in the season were mistakes. Ryan Taylor giving away penalties really hurt us, and when Chelsea scored after we were holding them for most of the first half it seemed it broke the boys' spirits.

I'd be more confident of claiming wins against Chelsea, Everton, and Wigan, though none of them are going to be easy.

Cisse is showing his class, I am amazed we were able to sign him, just thought a big club would have swooped as he was a top scorer in not so good team last season and was doing well this season.

Marveaux back training will be good as well.

Atromitos 1-1 Newcastle United this morning in the Europa Playoff game, Newcastle will play them again in 7 days at St. James' Park.

Newcastle put out a very light team, and played a very slow temp game, and just strangled them out of the game. Early on Denis Epstein provided some headaches for the Newcastle defense, before he seemed to fall away later.

He popped up a little later but was unable to help them secure a victory, their keeper also tried hard to help them lose it before Newcastle made a mistake and almost gave them one late.

Adam Campbell the 17 year old that has been compared to Michael Owen showed some glimpses of having some real pace, looking forward to his development. Played with a lot of confidence.

Obertan played a very good game.

Ryan Taylor's throw ins, freekicks, and corners were giving them trouble, his freekick in the last moments of the first half got Newcastle equal with them.
