Agreed.

This reminds me of the Chaser crew and their 'war on Everything' show - they got really well known and then found that they couldn't stooge anyone anymore.

Doing it times people are onto you is not among my strongest traits.

Saw 'The Big Heat" another Fritz Lang (when he was in the US) film. Taped the other week from TV. Film Noir with Glen Ford. Bits are a bit dated but some memorable scenes & an excellent film overall. With a very young (and nasty) Lee Marvin

Watched a few movies this week:

Martha Marcy May Marlene*
Shame
Take Shelter*
War Horse
Carnage*
Tower Heist
Fish Tank
Marley and Me

Enjoyed them all except War Horse. That was long and boring. And I totally call bullshit.

The surprise was Marley and Me. Sooked like a bitch and I'm not even really an animal person.

* Good movies, but just end them FFS! I hate the whole arty "Ooooooh, I wonder what happened next? What was the director feeling with this? Did it go this way or that way?" JUST TELL ME! Otherwsie, quite good.

Some good films there. I really liked Fish Tank; Shame was memorable if a little too depressing; and I'm disappointed that I haven't managed to see Martha Marcy May Marlene yet. Ditto Take Shelter. Heard nothing but good things.

Tower heist wasn't a bad romp.

Marley and me kills everyone! I could never watch it again! Broke my heart! But Hachi is better! And it doesn't have Jennifer in it! I've heard war horse was crap, won't bother with it now I think.

Carnage and shame sound more like my type of movie,

You on holidays? Or just making use of shit weather and not much on Telly?
