Postecoglou to coach Melbourne Victory!

Post by jack_spain »

Thank God! The first bit of good news for a few years for Victory fans.

Postecoglou should have got the job before he went to the Roar and won back-to-back championships. At last the Victory will be dragged kicking and screaming into the world of European soccer.

If they had given the caretaker Magilton the job, it would have been more of the same.

Postecoglou will lead Victory to more success.

Is it confirmed he will be coaching the Victory next season?

If he does end up being the manager, it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a success. He will have to rebuild the squad. It might take a year or two for the rebuilt squad to gel.

It's not yet, but it's expected he will be flying back to Melbourne to manage the Melbourne Victory. He officially quit the Roar yesterday, the Roar seem to think he's already signed and they already said their players are off limits to him.
