Just watched "Inception" on Blu Ray. Wow, what a film. Intriguing to say the least & powerful. Pretty good, was it James Bond meets the Matrix? Liked the concept, the special effects were fantastic, the concept brilliant the acting very good - but...

Has anyone seen it? What did you think?

The Town shows me Affleck is a better director than actor. Goes for a while so be prepared. 7 out of 10. Enjoyed it and had no idea how long it went for till I looked at my watch and that is a good sign.

Watched inception a couple of nights ago. Very matrix esque in concept. Liked it but will need to watch it again to figure out the small print.

However, on TV tonight got a bit of Batman Returns.

I'm so going to buy this now, Tim Burton is a freakshow on legs, I'd forgotten what a mixed up, messed up version he did. He really needs thereapy.

Watched 'Expendibles' and want my 2 hours back. Saw 'Tron Legacy' after rewatching Tron and number one is infinitely better. Legacy was classic Disney sequal crap...a movie made for marketing Toys, games etc.

'21' with Kevin Spacey is pretty cool, fast paced casino movie.

Because, just like the social network it portrays, people want to be loved and included.

Donny, I also love the original silent version of Ben-Hur, although I like the Charlton Heston version as well. The 1959 version is one of my Dad's favourite films, so it was probably one of the first movies I saw.

The writing & treating the audience with some respect - rare these days. IMO an intelligent film, not the bees knees but a good'un.

Saw "Tomorrow , when the war began" good film, of course no where near as good as the book(s) but a good job nonetheless. Saw it on Blu Ray at home with Ms WPT senior & Jnr.

I was at school when Whatever happened to Baby Jane first came out in the early sixties. I never managed to see the movie but I remember the theme being flogged on 3UZ. It included the line "She never grew up, she just grew older."

I can think of a lot of people that line describes, including quite a few current and former footballers.
